The Sweety turned the indoor kiting scene upside down and got just in a snap to one of most successfull indoor and street kites. The reason for this success is the beginner friendly characteristic, the superb manufacturing quality and its fair price. This helped many kiters to get into the indoor scene, so it was time for a new project for an advanced indoor kite. Because
of the good experience with the indoor kiting group in Dortmund, we hand over the whole project to Daniel Flinkmann.
He designed the whole kite construction with the support of Drachenkiste Siebert and the members of the TSC-Eintracht-Dortmund indoor kite team.

The main goals for the development of the ITrix (spelled "it tricks") were precision, great indoor trick capabilities joined with modern outdoor tricks.

As you can see, we chose a bit smaller wing span of 152 cm, because this allows the pilot to have a larger playing area than flying a large indoor kite. This helps a lot when you fly precision elements like sharp edges or speedchanges and this enthuse not just the flyer, but also the spectators.

We successfully designed a kite which allows classical indoor moves like the helicopter and the fade over head in a same way like cometes, jacobs ladders and of course the back spin easily. Jojo tricks are nailed down and you even can fly slow and let the kite smoothly glide around. Base tricks like the axel, cascade or flatspins are absolutely no problem for the ITrix.
In a sports hall, there is naturally a limited space available, so we also optimized the rising speed, when the kite is in fade and backflip position.

As usual for Wolfgang Siebert manufactored kites, the ITrix does have the special standoff holders sewed in the sail, so that there is a smooth backside and no lines can stuck somewhere. Additionally there are special protectors for the standoffs, so that the sports hall floor does not grind through the sail around the standoffs. For the Jojo tricks, there are completely masked upper spreader connectors and Jojo helper are mounted too.
